Practice calendar

Our regular Sunday practices are attended by Khenpo Ngawang Dhamchoe when he is in Sydney.

9 am - Green Tara practice

One of the foundation practices in Tibetan Buddhism, Green Tara is mother of all the Buddhas, removes obstacles and speeds the success of all our wishes.

10 am - Shamatha meditation

A blend of guided meditations and rhythmic chanting, this is a restorative and relaxing practice that increases ability to focus.

Shamatha is the Tibetan term for single pointed meditation. This can involve concentrating on one thing such as one's breath, a picture of a deity, or a blue flower. The purpose is to increase our ability to concentrate and focus. Without this ability, we cannot deepen our practice or gain the deepest understanding of key Buddhist teachings.

Vajrayogini practice

A monthly Vajrayogini practice is followed by a teaching and Q&A session by Khenpo. This practice is for initiates only.

The practice is held in Sydney - venue and dates will be announced. Please contact us for details.
