Request for prayers

Picture
You are invited to request prayers or dedications for those who are suffering or have passed away, or for other reasons:

  • for those who are going through particular hardship, illness, stress, grief or family conflicts, you may want to pray to lessen their suffering and restore their health and wellbeing
  • for those who have passed away, you may want to pray that that they obtain a precious human rebirth in their next life
  • or you may wish to pray for wider issues in the world.

Please fill out the Request for Prayers form below with the details of your prayer request.

Our sangha will include the prayer in their dedications when your request is received.

Traditionally in Buddhist monasteries, those requesting prayers make an offering at the time of the request. This is said to help establish a connection between the recipient and those reciting prayers on their behalf.

If you wish to make an offering with your prayer request – or to generally sponsor dedication prayers by our sangha – please use the Offering for Prayers form below.
