End of Lam Dre Dinner, 1 June 2009

A farewell dinner was held in Balmain Town Hall on the last night of Lam Dre, following the closing ceremony. This was attended by His Holiness the Sakya Trizin, His Eminence Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, Her Eminence Jetsun Kushok-la, Dagmo Kusho-la with Jetsunma, and Sey Kushok, as well as the Lam Dre organisers and students.

The meal was most generously prepared by the Tibetan Community of New South Wales, and the evening included traditional Tibetan music performed by the Tibetan Community, a song of devotion to His Holiness the Sakya Trizin written and performed by Lam Dre students, and the presentation of a portrait of His Holiness. His Holiness the Sakya Trizin also kindly presented certificates of appreciation to the Lam Dre 2009 organising co-ordinators and assistants.
